About Me
Choosing to begin counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s important that you find someone you feel comfortable with. My role as a counsellor is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly, be truly heard, and begin to make sense of whatever you’re going through.
I work with individuals and couples, helping with challenges such as stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My approach is gentle and compassionate, but also practical — supporting you to explore your feelings, gain new perspective, and discover ways forward that feel right for you.
I understand how overwhelming it can be to balance the demands of work, family, and relationships. My aim is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you, offering understanding and encouragement as you find your own path to growth and change.
In addition to private practice, I’ve spent time volunteering with counselling agencies and supporting people from many different walks of life. These experiences have deepened my belief that therapy can be a powerful space for healing, self-discovery, and building resilience.
If you’re looking for a warm, non-judgemental counsellor to support you through a difficult time or to help you explore yourself more deeply, I would feel privileged to work with you.

I am a registered and fully verified member of The BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and Psychology Today
I have continued my counselling training to support my clients needs incorporating CBT into my practice. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) provides independent, evidence-based guidance for the NHS on the most effective, proven treatments. CBT is recommended in the NICE guidelines for many different problems, including anxiety disorders (including panic attacks), depression, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I offer concessionary rates for NHS staff and emergency services staff.
